Karkat x Reader – School Daze.

Your name is (f/n) (l/n), and your life is officially over.

It’s finals week, and despite your intense studying, it feels like you haven’t retained any of the information! Possibly because you have been distracted by the constant feeling that someone may be watching you.  In the cafeteria, in the library, in the classroom, you constantly feel…observed.    

Sitting in the library, pouring over one of your many books, you get that watched feeling again!
Glancing up, you see the foreign exchange student staring you down from across the room. Before you can say anything, he looks back down at his book and continues reading.

-LATER THAT DAY CAUSE I’M A LAZY FUCK-

You sigh and pack your binders, notebooks, and books into your locker.  Just before you close your locker, you feel something brush past you. You look up and see him. The exchange student.
“Isn’t that the new kid?” you hear voices whisper.
“Yeah isn’t he weird? What’s up with his skin? And why does he wear that hat all the time?”  
You stare unintentionally. He is a little odd. Before you can ponder anymore, a voice pierces through the fog.
“Ah, Mr. Karkat Vantas. A word, if you will.” The history professor motioned for him to come into his office.
Karkat makes brief eye contact with you, his dark eyes glaring into yours.  

A flock of butterflies erupt in your stomach, and reality hits you like a sack of rocks.

Your name is (f/n) (l/n), and you are finding yourself starting to fall for Karkat Vantas.
